We’ve had our eyes on Artenvielfalt for a while now since their Christmas 2012 release on the label Acker Records. Beyond we found a concern of originality due to restriction, an original apprehension of beat house and techno. But today it’s with our upmost pleasure to be welcoming the boys to Délicieuse Records, and release their pure deep-house style, new and improved.

Not amateurs to music, the duo had already made a name for themselves in the 90’s hip-hop scene. Holding a clear mastery of the sample technique as well as properly executing rhythmic sections, their past experiences and talent certainly made for a natural transition to deep-house.

So we kick things off with the duo’s hit shaped for Funktion One.

Thinkin’ Bout You EP, constructed around the title track, is surely a release cut out for the dance floor. Devilishly compelling and designed with a heavy beat, the original title is bound to accompany you for some summer nights of debauchery. The deep vocals are complimented by a beautiful well-rounded bass that we find « straight to the point ». Following comes a succession of synths which play upon different contrast levels, successfully creating an element of surprise.
